Welcome to employment at WVUHl!
Here are some resources to assist you as you transition to your new position.
Helpful Connections For New Employees
New Employee Onboarding (NEO)
NEO is a program that combines all of the transfer of information required by The Joint Commission on your first day of employment with interesting information about the history of our Hospital, it’s traditions and values and specifically, how you fit into the big picture. This interactive session is facilitated by your Onboarding Coordinator, Kelsie Kittle, and is held about every two weeks. During heavy employment months, like January and June, it’s held more often. You can follow this link to the agenda and this link to the FAQs.
NEO Take 2
You will be scheduled to attend NEO Take 2 within 29 days of your initial NEO session. NEO Take 2 is a one hour session designed to ensure that you have completed and returned all of the essential Human Resources forms and that you fully understand and appreciate our STAR Behaviors. As a new employee, it’s important that you start off on the right foot. Follow this link to the FAQs.
Check the Center for Education & Organizational Development web site for a schedule of these sessions and for more information about the agenda. Most areas of the Hospital have their own customized orientation programs designed to help you get started in your new department. This orientation will take place once you report to your new job.

Helpful Forms For New Employees
There are several forms/documents that you must complete once you become a WVUH employee. Your department or supervisor will provide you with the appropriate forms.
Direct Deposit
You can elect to have your pay deposited into the bank account of your choice via the Direct Deposit Enrollment Form.
Form W-4 (Employee's Withholding Allowance Certificate)
All WVUH employees are required to complete a Form W-4 (insert federal and state access) when hired. You will also need to review your Form W-4 and make appropriate changes if you have had a major life change, such as an address change, marriage or divorce, death of a spouse, or birth/adoption of a child.
Employment Eligibility Verification (I-9)
Employees must provide verification that they are eligible for employment at WVUH. Your supervisor or HR staff will verify your eligibility by completing the Form I-9. You will be asked to provide two or more forms of identification.
