Helpful Connections For New Employees
New Employee Onboarding (NEO)-Informational Sessions
If you are asking yourself about Hospital history, traditions and values and how you fit into the "big picture" then you are looking for New Employee Onboarding. It is an interactive session offered monthly for new employees. During heavy employment months (January and June) it’s held more often. You can follow this link to a copy of the agenda. Follow this link to see the schedule for NEO and Take 2.
NEO Take 2
Shortly after your initial NEO session, you will attend a second orientation session (one hour) designed to answer any remaining questions you might have and to reinforce the STAR Behaviors. Our STAR Behaviors are central to our mission and important to every new employee.
Check the Center for Education and Organizational Development website for a schedule of orientation dates and more information about the agenda. Some areas, like Housekeeping, Nursing Services, and Nutrition Services have their own customized orientation programs that take place after the Hospital-wide New Employee Orientation.
